The Kauai Surf School is owned and operated by Jamie Dillberg and Nathan Metzger. We are surfers that are stoked to share our love and knowledge of surfing with you. Both owners are long time Kauai residents with families rooted in the islands.

 

Our background is where this passion for surfing comes from. Both of us are very blessed to be born into surfing families. Our dads dragged us into the ocean to ride waves when we were very young. That early start opened the door of the surfing world to us. After surfing our way through the amateur rankings as young boys, then as sponsored team riders for different surf brands as men we found our selves working in the surf industry. Rather than sitting behind a desk chasing our surfing dreams we spend our days in the water helping you have yours.

 

On our days off you will usually find us out surfing but when we are not Nathan, or “Sparki” as he is known on Kauai, is judging surfing events and Jamie is helping his kids into waves.

 

We have taught thousands of people how to surf since 1999 and we can’t wait to get you up and surfing when you come out to Kauai.
