Surf Clinics

Kauai Surf School’s surf clinics are for the beginner to advanced surfer. Our mission is simply to give surfers the basic foundation to encourage growth in their surfing. We incorporate ocean knowledge, water safety, and fun while exploring Kauai, the garden island. Kauai does not only offer great surfing but also includes amazing outdoor beauty and adventure.

Surf clinics are set up to teach and then build on your surfing foundation by spending multiple days with a professional surf instructor. We focus on technique and safety in every lesson. With surfing as our focus, we use other activities such as snorkeling, hiking, and exploring to add to the Kauai experience.

We offer these options to ensure that you get the surfing vacation that you are looking for.

Basic Surf Clinic

• 2 Hour Group Surf Lesson with 4 day minimum.

• Each 2 hour lesson builds on the previous.

• For beginner to intermediate surfers.

• Beginner surf equipment included.

• Ages 9 and up welcome!

• Children under 9 may partake in a group lesson if a parent or guardian is taking the lesson with them.

• All students must know how to swim.

Basic Clinic = $60.00 Per Person Per Day

Full Day Surf Clinic

• 4 day minimum. Days start at 8am and end around 6pm.

• Unlimited surf instruction and/or coaching each day.

• For beginner to advanced surfers.

• Activities such as snorkeling, hiking, and exploring the island fill the time when not surfing.

• Transportation included from our headquarters to surf spots and activities.

• Learn and live the Hawaiian culture.

• Each clinic is built for your groups needs.

3 - 4 Surfers = $175.00 Per Person Per Day

2 Surfers = $200.00 Per Person Per Day

1 Surfer = $300.00 Per Person Per Day

Deluxe Surf Clinic

The Deluxe Surf Clinic includes everything the Full Clinic offers plus:

• 5 day minimum.

• Stay at our deluxe bed and breakfast in Poipu.

• Gourmet breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

• All of your transportation is provided (airport transfers, surf, island tours, ect.)

This is the most cost efficient way to surf and explore our Garden Isle of Kauai.

3 - 4 Surfers = $225.00 Per Person Per Day

2 Surfers = $275.00 Per Person Per Day

1 Surfer = $350.00 Per Person Per Day

Surf Escort

• Half Day (4 hours) and Full Day (8 hours) Surf Escorts are for the intermediate to advanced surfer.

• The extended time allows the option to surf the surf spot that would suit your comfort level best as well as the conditions for that given day.

• The escort (a professional surf instructor) will provide the knowledge of the reefs and waves as well as the ability to coach advanced surfing techniques.

• Although we do have Longboards, Funboards, and Shortboards available to rent for the surf session the dimensions and shapes may not suit you. We do suggest traveling with your own equipment if possible.

• Must be booked 3 days in advance.

Half Day Escort = $300.00 for 1 – 3 surfers

Full Day Escort = $400.00 for 1 – 3 surfers

Reservations are required. Please email or phone your reservation inquiries in advance to ensure getting the date and time you desire. We do have a cancellation policy and will need credit card information as well as your contact information (both home and on Kauai) in order to book your reservation.
